Choice of materials

htr10016-bewerkt-iiii-1-w238h305The application determines the choice of materials

We make products from rubber, TPE and plastic foam. The right material depends on the application you have in mind. In principle, all types of elastomer are possible, but properties such as hardness, permanent deformation and elasticity determine whether a material is suitable for your product. Obviously, we will be glad to help you when choosing the material for your product.

Rubber types

In principle, all types of rubber are suitable for use during production. We can also make a compound of different types of rubber specifically for your application. The following are types of rubber that we regularly use:

  • EPDM
  • SBR
  • Natural rubber
  • Nbr
  • HNbr
  • Neoprene
  • Isoprene
  • Silicones
  • Butyl rubber
  • Fluoroelastomer (e.g. Viton ®)
  • Granulate rubbers
  • etc.

Foam types

In addition to rubber, we work extensively with foam such as PE (polyethylene), polyether foam, polyester foam (polyurethane foam), PVC, cellular and microcellular rubbers. We have broad-ranging experience in the area of cross-linked polyethylene foams in particular. We can also process special foams for you such as cellular rubbers, shock-absorbing foam (Poron®) or heat-resistant foam.
